ECG (Electrocardiogram)
ECG is a simple, painless examination that enables us to analyze your heart's electric activity. Each heart contraction results in a slight electric charge that also reaches the skin surface. Electrodes, attached to the skin of your limbs and chest, register this voltage and translate impulses in the form of a diagram onto a computer screen or paper. These impulses give an indication of how your heart functions and are evaluated by a physician.

Ergometry (stress ECG)
An ergometric examination expands on a basic ECG analysis. This examination gives an indication of how your heart functions under stress and how the level of your blood pressure reacts to stress. A bicycle ergometer consists of a upright bike and an ECG device. The physician observes your feelings during the exercise, pulse, ECG curve, and blood pressure during the course of various stress levels.

How does an ergometer work?
Electrodes, attached to your skin surface, record your ECG curve and pulse during the course of various stress levels and translate these impulses in the form of a diagram onto a computer screen or paper. The physician then searches for clues that were not visible during a non-stress ECG. An experienced physician will be able to identify hidden ailments of your heart, identify its cause, especially if the problem is located in the coronary arteries.

ECG Holter (24 hour ECG monitoring)
A holter monitor enables us to observe your heart's electric activity non-stop, especially during your normal, daily activities. This analysis is crucial for identifying irregular heart beats (cardiac arrhythmia), for an evaluation of the success of treatment, and for identifying patients who suffer from coronary arteries disorder (similar to an ergometric examination). A computer program translates ECG impulses and a physician-cardiologist evaluates them.

Pressure Holter (24-hour blood pressure monitoring)
This device automatically measures your blood pressure at intervals set by your physician. Final results are evaluated by a specialist who compares your results to your daily activities and establishes whether your blood pressure (day and night) is normal or increased. Acquired data also show if results of a high blood pressure treatment are reasonable.
